Elucidation of the physiological dynamics and diversity of crop life is essential to design robust crops against environmental changes. In this project, we focus on the flowering in barley, as a model trait, which has a great effect on its yield. We characterize the physiological dynamics and its diversity of flowering in association with the environmental conditions via omics analyses and computational modeling. We then develop a method to identify simultaneously multiple factors associated with the trait through a multidisciplinary approach including statistics as well as analytics based on A. I. technology. Moreover, we aim to establish a technology for prediction and preventively designing of the trait as a platform toward sustainable agriculture.
