Mathematical analysis of functional equations that describe dynamics of infectious disease

Transmission of infectious disease in a population and the growth of pathogens in vivo are considered with epidemic and viral dynamics models. These models are described with functional equations, such as ordinary differential equations, differential equations with time delay, and partial differential equations. We consider those functional equations from the viewpoint of mathematical anlaysis. Our research is mainly based on the theories of functional equations and dynamical systems. On some problems, computers are helpful to advance our research.
